Final Presentations - now let's get ready to submit!

Final project presentations took place on Monday 28th February.

Clearly, a new batch of interesting and innovative ideas have been emerging since the last critique. Progress is evident and now the last lap... Final submissions Wednesday 9th March 2011, no later than 2pm via email to h.saarinen@herts.ac.uk PDF, A3 etc..

You know the details - to double check, please go to Studynet, where you have all the relevant details. Please don't forget the 500 word Proposal document.. Best of luck and very well done!

Interim Critique 21st February 2011

On Monday, an interim crit was held - now there is a week for the finalisation of the work. Several ideas are emerging into potential events and we look forward to seeing this development through to the final presentations in a week's time. Everyone to check details on Studynet for electronic submission requirements, formats etc.

---------------------On Monday 21st February we are going to have a thorough review of the PROGRESS TO DATE. Do remember the deadline is approaching fast. As this is a Design Museum competition as well as a UH assessed project/part of module, there is a lot to consider. YOU MUST HAVE NEW WORK TO SHOW AND SHOW FURTHER INTENTIONS.

1. Remember to be aware of the DESIGN FACTORY student brief and its requirements. These are also the UH 5DES0065 requirements for assessment and submission. THIS APPLIES TO SUBMISSION FORMAT - as the submission will be electronic (YOU WILL EMAIL THE WORK TO ME ON 9th March or before). PDF's, A3 - see brief!!

2. Check all documents, emails relating to this project that have been posted on Studynet or emailed to you.

3. You will present final design / events on Monday 28th February. FINAL SUBMISSION OF WORK IS WEDNESDAY 9th March (See Studynet).

issues and spaces

...focus on issues and spaces - look at the inspiration and ideas we have looked at in our sessions and in C&CS... consider a range of ideas and work out a plan to start developing this..... make it interesting and enjoyable.. Keep a track of time too, plan it well.

MONDAY 7th FEBRUARY - issue, space, plan... you need to have this in place and in development.
